In-person workshop at the Case For Making Art Room
This abstract mark-making and mixed media workshop will explore intuitive ways of making marks to develop freedom and confidence in the process. We will begin with activities designed to explore materials and experiment with various approaches to creating marks. We will then cut & collage the papers we created in warm-up activities, add additional material, and explore meaning through the creation of an abstract piece rooted in your unique sensibility. Open to all levels, activities will include low-pressure drawing & doodling, pattern-making, painting, and collage.
